With 21% of US adults illiterate and many students reading below grade level, our program addresses these issues through collaboration between students, instructors, and parents. By providing necessary tools and support, K12 Counts helps students achieve and surpass grade-level reading standards, ensuring academic excellence and a better understanding of the world.
K12 Counts is thrilled to partner with EnglishHelper, an education technology company with a mission to provide innovative and affordable learning solutions enabling English literacy. EnglishHelper has developed various products, including Reading & Comprehension Assistant, which is an AI-powered application that is designed to help learners of all levels build foundational skills in English, from phonics all the way to listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
EnglishHelper has already demonstrated tremendous success, improving the skills of over 26 million students in 139,000 schools across 9 countries. K12 Counts is poised to offer Reading & Comprehension Assistant. This partnership will support K12 Counts’ online tutoring and coaching programs, helping us bridge the achievement gap and empower every student to pursue their dreams and positively impact society. Together, we can create a brighter future for the next generation.

To further support parents, we provide materials through EnglishHelper tailored for adult learners, regardless of whether English is their native or second language. Through our partnership with EnglishHelper, educators gain access to software that allows them to track class and individual student progress across learning areas, units, lessons, and exercises. Instructors can also edit and reorder units and lessons to align with their curriculum, offering a more holistic view of student progress and enabling personalized instruction that meets each student’s needs.
